Subject: A Fine Documentary
I've lived fairly close to the mountain most of my life and, when I was a kid, my folks, brothers, and I often camped at Spirit Lake and walked up the road to the base of St. Helens. The eruption was very traumatic as well as fascinating for us, though the only direct impact on me was the light layer of ash that was dumped on us here in Olympia a few times.

This was most interesting. I was in high school in Texas and don't remember even hearing about this eruption of Mt St Helens. Its fasinating to see the wonder of that partof the country and the great devastation that occured there. Harry should of left with his cats. To bad, but how safe every one could had been with the intense study of the mountain and its accurate forcast. Great documentary.

Subject: Very good for this type of film - a good historic document.
I had all but forgotten about the eruption of Mt. St Helens until I stumbled across this this little forest service documentary. It contains great footage of the disaster both before and after the fact. A superior effort for this type of film - I would would recommend it to anyone who has an interest on this subject.
